Browsing the site

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and you don't need an account. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If we measure visits, we use cookieless analytics that only show totals and don't follow you across sites.

“Check price” links

When you click through to a store, we record which product was clicked, when, and the country the visit came from, so we can see which products are useful. We don't store your IP address or anything that identifies you. On the store's site, its own privacy policy applies, and the store or affiliate network may use cookies to credit us for a purchase.

Photo search

If you use “Start from a photo”, your browser first shrinks the photo and removes its hidden data (such as the location where it was taken). The photo is then sent once to our AI provider, Anthropic, to recognize the kind of space, and is not stored by Every Inch. We only count how many photo searches happen each day. A Cloudflare Turnstile check helps keep bots out.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, your email address is stored by our newsletter provider and used only to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK), you can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days.
